It begins!

Hello world, and welcome to my blog!  I was inspired by my wonderful sister to start a blog of my own because she has such an amazing one herself.  I am currently on vacation in Scottsdale, AZ and thus far there have been a handful of amazing places and events that I just want to share! So I'm going to start taking pictures and posting them here for all to see along with little blurbs about my days.  I hope everyone can enjoy this as I am sure I will enjoy writing it!

So to start, this morning my dad and I went to this AMAZING little French bakery.  The place had such a chic feeling with Vogue and Louis Vuitton advertisements hung all over the walls, fresh white paint, and another wall decorated completely with chalk fashion sketches.  The story of the place is really quite adorable, the owners (a couple) met at a fashion shoot where she was the model and he the photographer, they fell in love la de da and decided to pen a great little bakery here in Scottsdale.  The work on the walls is all her modeling and his photography, how cool! The food was amazing, and not to mention the 70 degree weather is a nice change from the 23 degrees it is at home! We snacked on some melt-in-your-mouth croissants and foamy cafe au laits while enjoying the sunny morning, what a life!  One thing I loved about the place was their big selection of macaroons, which I have been obsessing a bit over lately.  I see them eating them in gossip girl and also a photographer I love uses them in some of her work.  This little shop had a great display of flavors and colors so I had to get one, yum!! I took a snapshot with my phone because I didn't have my camera so here is a little taste.  I'll also attach one of the photo's from the photographer that I like so much featuring a macaroon.  Here you are!

I'm not sure why this is so small, but this is my attempt to capture the macaroons!
(will take more pics tomorrow with my camera)

Thats all for now!
